Biography
Stephanie Abudayeh is an elementary general music teacher with a passion for connection social-emotional learning within the music classroom. Ms. Abudayeh holds a Bachelors in Music Education from Elmhurst College and a Masters Degree in Vocal Music Education from VanderCook College of Music, and levels training from DePaul University in both the Kodály and Orff-Schulwerk approaches. Ms. Abudayeh has taught general music and choir in Evanston, IL, Montego Bay, Jamaica, and Brisbane, Australia. In her current position in Evanston/Skokie School District 65, she teaches vocal/general music at two schools, chairs the vocal music department, and works as a lead teacher in arts-integration. Ms. Abudayeh has also directed church choirs for ten years and plays the flute professionally.
